# About Our Project & Mission

Leveling the playing field through superior engineering.

\
**About the Project:**\
Elite Node is not just a toolset; it is a proof of concept. We demonstrate that a small, focused team can build institutional-grade infrastructure capable of competing at the highest level of Solana MEV. We are not a mass-market service like Helius or Alchemy. We are a private solution, akin to Peper/Mints or Urban Node, built for professionals who demand peak performance.<br>

**Our Mission:**\
Our mission is to prove that with the right technology stack (Rust, Firedancer) and deep integration with cutting-edge infrastructure (Jito Shredstream), an independent team can match and exceed the performance of large, established players. We believe in a competitive landscape where engineering excellence, not team size, is the ultimate differentiator.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://elite-node.gitbook.io/elite-node-docs/project/about-our-project-and-mission.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
